The Music Academy, a staple of the season, features its beloved canteen. Meanwhile, in its The Hindu ad for the December 1, 2024 music festival, Sri Parthasarathy Swamy Sabha highlighted its caterer, the renowned Arusuvai Arasu.

Narada gana Sabha - Isai Natya Nataka Vizha 2024

The annual music - dance-drama festival of Narada Gana Sabha will be held from Dec. 13, 2024 to Jan. 1, 2025 with a Pre Music Festival from Dec. 1 to 12, 2024.

While the concerts at the Mini Hall are open to all, the evening concerts and dance recitals at 4 pm and 7 pm at the Main Hall are ticketed.

Tamil Isai Sangam Isai Vizha 2024

The 82nd Tamil Isai Vizha of Tamil Isai Sangam will be held from Dec 21, 2024 to Jan. 1, 2025

Venue: Rajah Annamalai Mandram, 5, Esplanade Road, George Town, Chennai - 1

The Mylapore Fine Arts Club Festival 2024 - 25

The 73rd year Art Festival of The Mylapore Fine Arts Club will be held from Dec. 18, 2024 to Jan. 19, 2025.

It will be held in its auditorium at 45, Musiri Subramaniam Road, Mylapore, Chennai - 4

The concerts at 4 pm and 6.30 pm are ticketed.

Srothovaham Music Festival 2024 - Dec 8 - 13, 2024

PSIOG Digital in association with UKS E-School is hosting a music festival titled 'Srothovaham' from Dec. 8 to 13, 2024.

Venue: Srinivasa Sastri Hall, Luz Church Road, Mylapore. Chennai - 4

Nada Sudha Music & Dance Festival - Dec 20, 2024 to Jan 16, 2025

Nada Sudha, one of the few sabhas outside Mylapore neighbourhood in Chennai has been hosting music and dance festival for the last 25 years. 

Into its 26th year, Nada Sudha is conducting the festival this year from Dec 20, 2024 to Jan 16, 2025.

Where to watch Season's concerts online?

Chennai's iconic Music Season is best experienced by attending live concerts at various venues, soaking in the unique ambience of each auditorium and the festive vibe of Margazhi. However, if you cannot visit the concert halls in person, a few organisations offer online streaming options to enjoy the music from the comfort of your home.

Madhuradhwani and Arkay Convention Centre

Naada Inbam and Raga Sudha Hall

Mudhra’s Art Festival

Mudhra has been streaming its festival online for several years now. Concerts can be viewed on paalamtv.com or via the Mudhra Bhaskar YouTube Channel. Donations are welcome to support their initiatives.

The 124th December Music Festival of Sri Parthasarathy Swami Sabha will be held from Dec. 14, 2024 to Jan. 2, 2025

Venue: Vidya Bharathi, 55, Bheemasena Garden Road, Mylapore, Chennai - 4

The morning lecture Demonstrations and teh day concerts are free to attend. Concerts at 4 pm and at 6.30 pm are ticketed.

Daily tickets will be available at the venue.

As part of the festival Samskriti Utsav' is also held from Dec. 16 to 30, 2024 at Madras Sanskrit College auditorium in Mylapore. Admission to all these concerts is free.

Brahma Gana Sabha December Art Festival 2024-25

This year's music festival of Brahma Gana Sabha will be held from Dec 13 - 31, 2024.

 A majority of the concerts will be held at Dakshinamurthy Auditorium, (PS Hr Sec School campus) Mylapore, Chennai

A few evening concerts will be at RR Sabha, Mylapore.
