Musicians, students and rasikas eagerly look forward to the lec-dem sessions at The Music Academy during the December season. The sessions are presided over by that year's Sangita Kalanidhi designate and interactions with the audience follows after each session.
Venue: Kasturi Srinivasan Hall, The Music Academy
This year's academic sessions begin on Dec. 16, 2015 and will go on till Jan, 1, 2016. Invocation is at 8 a.m. and lec-dems are from 8.05 a.m. to 10 a.m. The sessions will be presided over by Vidvan Sanjay Subrajmanyam and Dr. Pappu Venugopala Rao is the convenor.
The sessions are not ticketed. However, the halls tends get filled very early and being on time or before time helps.
