A series of lec-dems on weekends will be held at the TAG Centre, Chennai hosted by the South India Heritage Lecture Series
During the season this year 4 talks / lectures are held during the Sundays - Dec.4, 11, 18 and 25, 2011.

Dec. 4, 2011 - Tradition, transition and transformation in Kuchipudi dance: Lecture by Dr Papu Venugopala Rao. Dance demo by Vedantam Venkatachapathi from Kuchipudi village
Dec. 11, 2011 - Lecture by Kanniks Kannikeswaran - The Voice in Western Music.
Dec. 18, 2011 - Lecture on 'Chembai Vaidyanatha Bhagavatar' by V. Sriram
Dec. 25, 2011 - Lecture on Thiruvavaduthurai Rajarathnam Pillai by V. Sriram
