This year's Natya Kala Conference is dedicated to the memories of
Bi-centenarian Aachaarya Tanjavoor Vadivelu & centenarian Naatyaachaarya Vazhuvoor Ramayya Pillai.
Senior Bharatanatyam artiste / guru Shanta Dhananjayan, a Padmabhushan awardee will be the convenor for this conference.
The theme of the conference is Abhyaasa Sampradaya. It will elaborate on the evolutionary developments in the system of Natya training & presentation
There will be Lec-dems in the morning and performances in the evenings from Dec. 26 to 31, 2011

Registration fee per participant is Rs.100/- Registered delegate members get designated front seats. Free refreshments to registered members and free souvenir to all registered members.
Morning sessions free for public.
The programs sponsored by the Central Sangeet Natak Akademi. Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), Government of India has sponsored Smt.Kamala’s passage to & from New York for the conference.
